Thermage works from the inside out, using radiofrequency technology to target the deeper, collagen-rich layers of the skin, causing collagen to contract and gradually reform and leaving you with skin that’s tighter, firmer, smoother and more youthful!

Results from a single Thermage treatment may last up to 2-3 years, depending on your skin condition and the natural aging process.

You’ll need only one Thermage treatment to achieve results. However, depending on your age, skin condition and degree of skin elasticity, you may choose to consider a second treatment in order to obtain your desired result, as well as maintenance treatments every couple of years.

While you may see results right away, they tend to appear gradually in the two to six months following your treatment.

Because Thermage uses heat to stimulate new collagen in the deepest layers of your skin, it’s slightly more uncomfortable than treatments that deliver heat to superficial layers of the skin, such as our IPL or Fire + Ice facials. You’ll feel a brief heating sensation when the device’s tip touches your skin, followed by a cooling sensation that helps protect your skin and minimize any discomfort. Thermage is designed for those in the early stages of aging with minimal to moderate sagging and skin laxity. It’s incredibly popular among our postpartum clients, as well as younger clients looking to prevent signs of aging by “banking collagen for later”.

You can get Thermage practically anywhere on your face, but the most popular areas are the eyes, face/neck.

Thermage can take anywhere from 45-90 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. First, your thermage clinician will apply a “grid” to your skin so they know where to apply the device. Then, they’ll begin the treatment, using the device to safely deliver hundreds of radiofrequency pulses against your skin. The pulses only last a few seconds, and your clinician will be monitoring the intensity to maintain your comfort level. The device also has an integrated cooling system that cools your skin’s surface for increased comfort.
